Where can I go to spot and stalk ? Mule deer or white tail? There is literally 1 wma that allows rifle hunting. I just moved to TX and WAS excited to hunt until I realized there is almost no where to go.

My wife was reading some post on FB the other day, from a ladies group. Their husbands were crying about the lack of public land to hunt on. All these people just recently moved here, wouldn’t one think to look at that type of info, before moving across the country?

I talked to a guy just last week was telling me how TX public sucked and no where to go, So he drives 11 hours one way to CO every year to hunt for a week…….But lives 2.5 hours from Sam and DC NF and never been.
