Not great picks and no pics of the finished product but made a gumbo out of the left over turkey and some andouille. Boiled the bones down with a mirepoix to make the stock and then added left over meat, sausage, a good dark home made roux, and the Cajun trinity to make the gumbo. Served over rice with cornbread on the side. Delicious way to use up some leftovers...

Yeh buddy, looks good. I normally do an after Thanksgiving soup, but didn't have time this year.

That has always been a tradition here as I would boil the turkey bones till the meat fell off and add vegetables and either rice or noodles and let it cook all day! Soup available for a couple of days thereafter.
