Well I finally connected on a 30” ram on our low fence lease. Last ram we had of this quality I let my girl shoot.
Decided to skip the morning hunt as we got to the lease at 3am the night before, woke up at 9 to drink some coffee when my Tactacam sends me a picture of the ram at my feeder 2 miles out. I grab my .308 and take off hiking,after making it to a clearing that looks out towards my feeder just to see the heard left already. Slowly started trailing the heard as I hit an opening I see 3-4 ewe and a small ram feeding. As I’m watching them eat the big old ram steps out, quickly raising the rifle and take the shoulder shot at 200 yards. He bucks and retreats back into the trees. Walking the tree line to where he entered I see him stand up in another opening where I take a final neck shot and down he goes.

Whereabouts in Coleman (more or less of course)? We hunt just north of the county line.

We are on the southern line, physically on the Colorado river south of Santa anna
