My buddy was hunting a stand this morning near a pond where I have a cellular camera. He's been trying to take a doe for meat and just before 9am my camera shows a doe at the pond. To his defense, there's a large pasture looking the opposite direction and that's probably where he was focusing his attention.

I'm sure it's something that happens quite often and the hunter just never admits what his/her camera showed that for whatever reason, what they failed to see.

I spoke with my friend about the photo later today and he admitted he was facing away from the pond most of the time. He was in an open tripod and wanted to keep the cold north wind to his back. It happens.

There's a guy in our club known for snoozing in the stand. I put "The Donald Chronicles" together a few years ago.

If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you.
