Selling a Stevens 200 in .270. Basically an older savage model. Has had a trigger job and is a hell of a shooter for an inexpensive rifle. Sitting in a Tupperware stock but I have a stocky’s laminate wood stock I’ll throw in for free. Rifle and scope rings-$400; with scope (Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40) - $500. Very OBO. Open to offers and trades. FTF in Houston area.
This thing is a great shooter. Bolt is slick, and the trigger job excellent. Super clean, with no take up. Bushnell 3200 is a great, if basic 3-9x40. My recollection is the stock is bedded and the original Tupperware stock has been repainted with a textured spray. These Stevens 200s were super popular a few years back for building semi-customs and affordable hot rods. Wouldn’t sell it, except that I am trying to offset a couple of other gun purchases. At asking price I’ll include not only the laminate stock, but also the couple of boxes of .270 I have for it.
