As long as I can and still be in decent health. I am 70 and been running 15 miles a week for over 40 years. Also lift weights and stretch two times a week. I try to eat well and get annual exams.

No guarantees on anything but I do my best to live a healthy lifestyle

For a long time I was ok with my 'number' being 70; now I think I like 80 better.

That will get my boys to their 40s and 50s and, hopefully, any grandkids to their 20s. Wouldn't mind seeing a great grandkid if that timeline gets compressed somewhat.

I plan on being around a long time.

Going in your late 70's or early 80's seems like a great plan when you are 40. But when you are 75 and still laying solid pipe, not so much.

I’m surprised I made it to 36…we’re good from here on out as far as I’m concerned

Women in my family make it well into their 90s, some 100+. Men at 80 years are done, alive but nothing there.
For me 80 is a good number. If God grants me with more years than that, I pray they are good years.

When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.

You will change that when you hit 50's, then you will want to push it as far as you can.
