2nd cousin passed recently after long battle with lymphoma. One of my best friends and I inherited these. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/11/full-30584-404956-trailerfull.jpg) These are the real family heirlooms. The .22 and Crackshot were my Uncles who passed down to my 1st cousin. 1st cousin was an armorer in National Guard for 20+ years. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/11/full-30584-404957-mine.jpg) Disclaimer: None of these are for sale, just happy we finally found them yesterday after searching for over a month.

Sorry to hear about your cousin, it looks like his memory will live on fondly. Is that a 10 gauge singleshot on the far left?

Sorry to hear about your cousin, it looks like his memory will live on fondly. Is that a 10 gauge singleshot on the far left? Thank you! The three of us, my cousin who passed, my best friend and myself spent many hours riding motorcycles on and off road and lots of time shooting. His Dad and my big Brother were best friends also so lots of shooting history in that pile. They will be passed down to my sons and a nephew or two Yes 10ga, it was the jeep gun and was parkerized by cousin.

That sporterized M1 Carbine is for sure a blast from the past! It's one of the Universal nickel plated ones that takes all USGI parts. I haven't found the nickel plated magazines yet but have plenty of blue ones for other Carbines. As for the carving on the stock.....no telling but guessing cousin did it - just makes it more special.

My cousin's wife is planning a range day with us in a few weeks when we get a good day and can get together for a gunpowder wake. She was raised on a ranch in West Texas, is a shooter and kept a few for herself! Lotsa 45ACP, 30-06, 5.56, 9mm, .22 and probably some shotshells will be consumed!
