Would like to get this guy gone but I don’t think he is wide enough. Thoughts?

Hard to be for sure: he appears to be stout enough to be 3-4 years old. However; inferior genetics would decide for me to skewer (or shoot) that sucker. His width looks to be close to 15 inches. If your buck count is low, take him when rut is over. Genetics or not; he needs to help you out some.

For me personally, I'd be hesitant to shoot that deer without getting a look at him straight on.
He's close.

What’s the body size like on your deer? Is that a 100, or 200 lb deer?

Too close to call IMO.

But I wouldn't fret about ONE buck influencing the genetic 'pool' very much (if that is your concern).

It’s close enough I might gamble on it. But I don’t predominately hunt an AR county and I process my own.

I would err on the side of caution and say No. I have been hunting in an AR county for over 9 years. Again, just guessing he does not clear ears, imo.

Hard to tell in pictures. If I felt good about it from the stand, then I'd shoot him. My gut tells me he'd be around 14".
