I loved Steve Earle too, then I watched an interview where he was speaking out against gun ownership and for gun control, citing an example of why he felt the way he did as his son hide his 9mm in a bathroom while Earle was high on heroin. Instead of choosing to stop shooting up and getting whacked out of his mind, he threw the gun away and now thinks we should have ours removed as well.

I doubt it affected him at all financially. There way too many people that don`t hold people like him accountable for their left leaning talking points or beliefs. They just give them a free pass because they like their music. When they use their popularity as a platform to promote their liberal ideology or agenda that is harmful or one that I disagree with I quit listening to them and never again.
