That one is a hot spot!! At least is was last year...close to 600 dove were taken the first day!!

ther used to be a public spot off 35 in new braunfels, but its been a few years since i went out there
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

That one is a hot spot!! At least is was last year...close to 600 dove were taken the first day!! Last year it was good for about the first week and then it was done. It was also open for morning hunts last season,as well. This season is from noon til end of legal only, and I can tell you, it's already shot out. Went 3 days this past weekend and its very slow already. Birds that do fly through are mostly high flyers, so if your willing to bust some sky, that's about the most you'll get.
