my wifes 6.5 CM is probably close to or over 100 animals now. Mulie deer, Aoudad, Elk, pigs, pronghorns, whitetails, axis,

I will say the sig is really nice being it folds up and fits in a backpack, not having to put into a side Scabbard on a horse has its advantages

I have one I rebarreled to a 6 Gaymoor.

My only complaint, they needed to set it up to use a rem700 trigger. The two stage is good but I’d rather have a TriggerTech or Bix.

Loved mine, fun to shoot. Should’ve kept it to rebarrel and wait for an aftermarket trigger. I agree with Judd, a TriggerTech would be nice.

My passion is perforating porkers. I've been doing so for at least 60 years, year around.

These days, mainly at night.

Circa 2003-2004 I got my first kill light that mounted on a rifle scope. Used that until I acquired night vision.

I guess I have the only two ATN optics that work, as I've never had a problem with the HD2 or the 4KPro, and have killed a ton of hogs plus coyote and fox.

I hunt out of ground blinds, stands, and I'm set up with a shooting platform in my SXS. Over the years I began to notice a problem with the traditional rifle stock is that hardware mounting options are limited, and when stand hunting 24"-26" barrels can be unwieldy. That's before even considering adding a 7"+ suppressor.

About 5 years ago I got my first themal unit. I now have three that are dedicated to a particular rifle.

About 3 years ago I got interested in acquiring a suppressor for use with my thermal.

At that time finding a factory rifle chambered for 308 Winchester with a 16" threaded barrel in a bolt gun was next to impossible.

Then I came upon the Sig Cross.

[Linked Image]

It has become my go to rifle for night hunting w/thermal.

It is a bolt action, comes with a Pic Rail, detachable mag, and M-lok capabilites for mounting lights, battery packs, tripod mounts and other hardware.

With a 7" can OAL barrel length is 23"+/-.

It is accurate

I for one luv the two stage trigger. Take up the slack and it breaks clean. Pretty darn good for a factory rifle.

Its a killer!

It works good for me, the two stage trigger was an easy transition from ARs.

They will never be accused of being beautiful rifles, but they sure seem to be stunners the way they shoot.
