Fishing should stay pretty hot through end of November/mid December.
I also can help with lodging recommendations for anyone needing a night.

This front is going to have fish going crazy, and on the backside water will be crystal clear and make for exciting fishing.

On the back side of front with calm winds and clear skies we have absolutely been thrashing on redfish with flies.

Spring bite is starting to fire off. There are a lot of upper slot and mini-bulls up shallow eating now. It is only going to get better as it warms up. If sightcasting to hungry redfish sounds like fun, then let's get on the skiff!!

Time to get my rod some exercise at the pond. You sure do use light rods. How long to land those big ones?

Usually we use a 7 or 8 wt rod on redfish, and it takes a few minutes to get them in. We're in really shallow water so they can't dive in deep water dragging out a fight.

Summer is right around the corner, and we can get away from these springs winds. I have limited availibilty on weekends through June, but plenty of weekdays open. When people ask what time to come to the coast and fly fish, I tell them from Memorial day to Christmas. So we're about there, and I expect it to be a great summer and fall.
