Looking to book a guided elk hunt in the near future somewhere in New Mexico or Colorado. What’s the average going rate these days? Also looking for any outfitter recommendations as well.

Go to Wyoming, look these guys up. I've hunted with them 3 times. Picture of my 2015 bull. Swift Creek Outfitters

Also looking for any outfitter recommendations as well. just depends 3500 to 20k. What are you looking for? A bull or 370 bull, lodge or tent camp, archery or rifle? NM tends to cost more because success odds are low in the draw so you have to resort to land owner tags which can get pricey

You'll need some PPs for Wyoming unless the outfitter will party your app with another hunter. Swift Creek has a good rep and the area they hunt would be a true back country experience.
Great bull angus.
