I've never done this before. I have a savage 111 25-06 with accutrigger. It has a laminated wood stock that I am not fond of. It also is top load. What stock should I buy that I can bolt on that is synthetic? (The scope is going away too.)

For a quality stock, that is also a money saver.

So many great choices out there now. Do you have a budget?

Also , when looking, it may state "ADL" bottom or "no floor plate".

Hogue. Their ‘over molded’ stock has a rubber coating that’s great for hunting, easy to grip when wet, quiet and has a full length aluminum bedding block built in for strength. They make it for the top loading 111 as well. $150.

I put both my .308 and .243 700s in the Hogue overmolded stocks. They're not built for competitive shooting and are ugly, but are also the most hunting-functional stock I've ever used, especially when it's cold and you're wearing gloves. Hard to beat.

This sounds exactly like what I am looking for. The ones with the full bed pillar are $221 from the Hogue store on Amazon. The standard ones are $136 now.

Is that laminate stock I have worth selling?

I may be interested in it if I can find a mag setup. It’s a centerfeed not a staggered feed correct?

Slight mistake on my part….$150 is for the standard pillar model, the model with the aluminum bedding block is $260.

No Worries. I figured it out. On Amazon from the Hogue store is the least. $221 and then $136.
