Which is a true hunter one that prefers a bow, or one that prefers a rifle.

neither makes you a true hunter. i know gun hunters that are great in the feild, and bow hunters that couldnt hunt their way out of a wet paper sack. and, the other way too. weapon choice is like saying does a ford or a chevy makes you a better hunter. Being a good hunter is about being a sportsman, being knowledgeable about game, and making yourself and those around you successful and happy in the feild.

why would a gun or a bow define a true hunter, both are hunting....truly....so whether you use a knife, gun, bare hands, sword, num chucks, rope, Bow, sharpend bamboo, if you are searching for game and going to kill it, that would be the definition of hunting....a true hunter searches for game and kills it.

i'd say knap an arrowhead, shape a shaft... pluck some feathers.... find a tree... widdle... lol..
like the Indians!.... the original true hunter!
