Hmmm, " CSG (the CzechoSlovak Group) is 100% owned and led by Michal Strnad" - Michal Strnad is a 30 year old Czech billionaire , and his CSG is the 4th largest ammo producer in the EU. . .
A single guy (foreigner) cornering a majority of ammo (& Primer) production in the free world . . . what could go wrong. . . ?

I'm not sure it's a bad thing, being in the arms business, in today's ESG environment, it's probably better to be privately held. The Czechoslovak Group is heavily involved in the Arms Trade.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

Somehow this will get funneled back to our politicians.

Prices were coming down and supply was going up. They had to do something, right?

I bought ammo and reloading components for years leading up to retirement. I have enough of everything for 2 lifetimes. I don’t get why some folks cheap out and don’t prepare for this. I wonder how many people on here have 30 different types of liquor but not enough ammo. Life choices.

Fyi, Scheels has all components 15% off, and they have primers in stock. I've been holding off buying srp and spp for a bit hoping prices would come down a bit more. I went ahead and pulled the trigger tonight just in case.

Oh great panic buying again. Yep - rapidly happening . . . - say goodbye to new/brass/american-made .223 ammo for 50c a round. We'll soon be back to a 'buck a round' or more , the 'new normal' once existing stock disappears - which is rapidly happening . . .

If you're caught short this time...you only have yourself to blame. Did you not pay attention at all in the last 2 1/2 years? Ya, the Trump years the prices went up, shelves were bare. & no one blamed Trump. Whin Biden won, & everyone cry'd i posted pic's of the shelves & said @ least ammo is back on shelves & got the stink eye. Thar b some hard core Rep. on here, that always blame Dem. Global warming, they say scientists, getting paid, then turn around & admit it goes threw cycles. Covid, something. i while i agree, & hated wereimg a mask @ work, was onevof the ( expedables) masks, it kept things moving. & the guns dont kill, yet each war they they improve them for killing. Look @ Custer. The Indians had the better weapons, not carring just bow& arrows. why did the company sell ? The iron foundry i worked. Every one was looking for other work. Thar just wasn't no higher paying jobs available. & it was most i ever made. With 2 weeks, not paid, shut down in July & Christmas. Mantaniance work, & had 401K. We're we're lucky ta get a an hour raise. Some were pushing union, told them union only as good as people running it. They were comparing wages of the big paying companies, they were trying ta get work @. Forklift @ foundry was $7.43 while other places,12-15& higher an hour. Even some one with a D- in english, for education, can figure out, ya can't compare company wages. Knew if it gave every employee even a .50cent raise it would go under. They could emprove safety, & working conditions & other things. Union got in, & yes some got raise, some things got better. Payed vacations. But the place sold. New owners. Why did they sell out ? Maybe too many complaining about the high prices they were charging, & figured they put blame on some one else. Tis sure they hot a pretty penny for it. Will be customers that pay thre price. edit : see some are yelling : STOCK UP. Supply & Demand. That hust gonna raise prices, learn ta b more accurate shooter. i hunt with bow.
