One of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.

Government is doing anything they can to kill deer hunting, figuring take away deer hunting, one more step toward taking rifles away as that is one of the main reason lots of people have them. Just my FJB

I bury all carcasses now anyways so I don't attract coyotes.

Back in the day we had a full processing facility at the ranch. I can’t tell you how many deer left the ranch fully packaged and de-boned.
IMO the 4 quarter law is stupid. Most other states allow you to debone in the field. This would eliminate bones and other “containments” from leaving the property.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

DING, DING, DING we have a winner. It makes ZERO sense to require a hunter to bring bones out. I grew up in CO and we have always been allowed to completely bone an animal in the field. You just have to leave evidence of sex attached to one piece. This means a tit on a female and a nut on a male. In CO if you are hunting in an area with an antler restriction you can still bone in the field and you merely have to bring out the antlers attached to the bone. This means you can cut the antlers off and just leave the skull cap intact to show the buck/bull is legal. Having to bring out bones and the entire head is STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Utter waste of paper. Easily 95% of deer are already being disposed of in these manners. Most already use a processor. Those that quarter, leave big parts at the property, and throw other parts away in city dumpsters/trash cans. How many are taking the whole carcass from the hunt property to another property where the carcass is just tossed in the brush? Not enough to matter.
Bureaucrats are such a waste of oxygen.
