I bet that hawk was disappointed. That decoy might be a little tough to chew. They do hunt the feeders. The coyote shows up about every other night. Coyotes do eat corn.

Looks like dove. And I've got a bunch of t/c pics over the years of yotes eating corn at my feeders... especially the drought years.

They are dove decoys. I have good, not great wildlife population. I get a rare deer and turkey at the feeder. Mostly I get songbirds and doves. Looks like I'm feeding the hawks too. I don't hunt anything on my place. I am getting a few pigs here and there and need to get rid of a couple now. I'm going to install a feeder light so it will notify me when the pigs show up. A load of buckshot should run them off at least for a while.
