I have two stealth cam’s behind my house. I saw over 20 deer on the feeder about an hour ago. No pictures from either camera. Full batteries etc. I’m done with them. What brand camera should I replace them with?
Hopefully you will get some good responses but just expect lots of different opinions. Be sure and check the history of threads in this section cause there are many threads about cell cams. We use Spartan and like them but dont really have a lot of experience with others.

My RidgeTec has been in the field for the last three years, including the Great Freeze, with nary a hiccup. Comes with AT&T and Verizon SIMs too. Great portal, great app, and the owner responds to issues if needed.
Whatever you decide, I would definitely ensure the cam comes with both SIMs.
I just started using a cell cam for the first time about two months ago and have been very happy. I have the Tactacam Reveal 2.0. I bought the lithium battery pack and a solar panel to go with it. After 2 months in the field and hundreds of pictures, the battery is still at 100%.
To get a good signal, in a spot where there really isn’t one, I erected a 30 mast for an external antenna I bought off of Amazon. It’s set in concrete, so it’s pretty solid. All together the antenna with 30 ft mast cost me about $100 to make. I get 3 out of 4 bars of signal and have had no problems.
I had originally mounted the camera on the antenna mast, but got too many false triggers from the mast moving in the wind. I’ve since mounted the camera on a separate T-post and now only get pics of animals.
I like the Moultrie edge ones for a cheaper option, i think they have a good app. I personnally like how they just connect to best signal and you don't have to worry about SD card issues.
I have about every version of Tactacam in the field (12 cameras).
Only problems I have are woodpeckers destroying one or two every fall.
I tried spypoint but theyre worthless unless you use them as trailer blocks.
I don't have any Spypoint cellular cameras, but I started using their Cell link for my cameras last year and their are junk. The customer service is not just bad it's absent. I spent hours and hours on chat and phone trying to get a return authorization for a Cell Link that was under warranty and jumped through hoops to get all the purchase info to them and they never responded. That was in July. I saw an ad and some comments on FaceBook three weeks ago and left my opinion there. They called me on the phone to ask me what the problem was. I spent 30 minutes doing all the same things they had me doing to troubleshoot the device back in July which I had done over and over and over back then. I told her either send me an RMA or I'm done. She sent me a new device and a return label. I have 5 cameras with the Cell Links and the paid accounts expired on Oct 2 and reverted to free. I have purchased a Moultrie Delta and two Edge cameras that I'm taking up the week before opening day.
