Getting the message that my image files are too large when trying to upload game cam pics from my computer. What is the size limit for photos? Photos are around 5000KB. Haven't changed anything with my game cams that I can think of.

Appears is 4mb now.

On the run I upload it to facebook which compresses it, then download it back to my phone, then it is small enough to upload here. I know there is software to compress photos, but on the run hunting the facebook trick is all I have time for. You might be able to do the same thing by texting them to yourself, then downloading the compressed .jpg from the sent text. Maybe that will help someone who does not have or want to spend the time compressing them with software.

For a while I lost resolution on me pictures but set to 8mb pics on the phone and it worked.

This picture from my phone was at 4.23MB before I cropped it to reduce size. At 4.23MB it would not upload. BY cropping it to 3.29MB I was able to upload it. Pictures from my camera have to be compressed so much, that they mostly don't get posted her anymore.

i have the same problem. i remember when i could re-size them by picking a size not cropping? im purty bad with tech stuff.

There a number of free on-line picture tools that can easily resize pictures. Do a search. I like "imageresizer" pretty easy.
