I’ve got two Fenix PD35 Tacs that I use for work and hunting and I beat the hell out of them. They’ve been good for me and I will continue to buy.

Streamlight are made in China as well, everyone I have looked at so far has point of origin as China

What's the point of your post?

I would like them to be very light to carry in my walking/riding short, maybe with a lanyard

This is what I carry now, Got in China, but if you use them the battery doesn't last very long during my walk, they are a tad bit old but battery is weak.

I’d suggest a Strion with a spare battery or two even.

This is a list I found rather quickly and screen shot. Looks like the lower end Streamlights are made overseas. Everything on that list is allegedly made in the US.

Not sure if it's for weapons but this is right for the price buzz

Buzz I have a Streamlight Stinger DS LED HL that is as bright as any I carried on patrol, probably brighter, a bit over your budget and don't think it could be mounted with out possibly a mod holder, but in your pocket, it is a bad mofo.

Good battery life and rechargeable with a small footprint. about 8" long and 1"-1-1/4" diameter

Love Streamlights.

This is the one I carry daily Streamlight ProTac 1L-1AA

Use the ProTac 2's exclusively on all my long guns.

Are these rechargeable flashlights really good? I'm still living in the stone age and use alkaline batteries.

Every police officer in the country uses them so there’s that.

That is all I use, however I don't use them too often, so far after a couple years of intermittent use I haven't had any issues.
