The last couple of months have been jammed with work, leaving no time for loading. We ran out of my wife’s favorite .308 Win load with 130 TTSX’s.

So grabbed some boxes of Barnes factory ammo. I have not bought factory ammo in many years.

Count me as shocked after seeing her shoot it.

There is a cold clean bore at 2 o’clock, a second followed by a correction on the scope.

Then she shot a five shot group shown below.

The rifle is a GAP with a Surgeon receiver in .308 Win.

The point of the diamond is the point of aim. So she was putting them where intended.

Looks good to go.

I was spotting for my wife. She was lined up at 500 yards.

-Her "I see the mirage is right to left. I know I need to hold right. How much?"

-Me "hold point five Mil right"

Center punched it.

Told guys at the fire station about it. They said maybe you shouldn't teach her how to do that. 100% sure you make that poor woman mad at you very frequently.

Awesome! I've also had nothing but good results shooting Barnes VOR-TX factory ammo.
