 Granger Lake draw hunt

My buddy and I drew Granger Lake for archery deer. Any experiences or tips on hunting there? We haven't had a chance to scout there yet. Rules say 2 does before a buck.

I live out by granger, and fish it often. There’s quite a few deer around the lake. It shouldn’t be too difficult to get on one.

Saturday 10/14 is the mandatory orientation at 1030hrs, and the hunt permit is good until 12/31.

248 people showed up for standby at Granger. WTF. LOL. Saw lots of deer out there, didn't have any stop on my corn though. I'll be back before December 31 to try again
