Heard something about a week ago while on the back porch one night. Distant scream...the kind that makes you stop thinking for few second. Blew it off, since the area is pretty built up. Must be kids raising hell at midnight. Next door neighbors have a deer feeder about 50 yards from their back door. It got a picture a panther on it earlier this week. Now a fresh, completely stripped deer carcass was found across the road this morning. Nothing but bones and the back legs. 250 yards from my front door. Breaking out the thermal and NV. Reaching out to a college buddy to see if he still has dogs for hunting them. We may get us a full blow cat hunt going. The two big landowner near us what the kitty gone. Update: City transplants in the new subdivision are freaking out on the neighborhood Facebook page.

Bait it in by using a leashed animal that makes noise. You will have to do it for awhile. Cats cover a lot of ground.

Looks more like a coyote kill to me. Can you share a game cam pic of the "panther". Cats will eat what they can and then cache the kill coming back for more meals over the coming days. That doesn't look like it was buried. Just my

A cat would have moved it to cover.

I agree with Dave, cats usually drag the kill off and eat what they want and then cover it up and come back. I bet it was a pack of coyotes to clean it that good and the pictures of I’ll be of a house cat.

Leave it alone. They sound like all the old people here in Frisco Lakes posting pictures of BoBcats, coyotes, water moccasins etc. in their yards.
People build houses on top of wildlife and get scared when they see wild animals.
If you move out of the city, you better be willing to deal with snakes. coyotes and whatever will eat your dog.

Well, now there are lots of reasons why the son cannot produce the game cam picture.
I'm calling BS on the big cat pictures too.

Stub, I’d be careful that thing is giving the stink eye.

Government tracker tracked it to their fence. He called the ranch house and asked permission to track on their property. That and my brother saw it. I lung shot a doe late one evening. Tracked it to a creek bank and it got dark. It was cold and by myself so I decided to wait until morning. The next morning I found it covered with leaves and sticks. Fresh scat and tracks nearby. I did not have my gun so I backed out real slowly and left it to the cat. It was the second one I found on the property.
