I’m getting differing opinions on whether a pdr guy can fix a dent on a crease line on this tailgate.. Does anyone have experience in getting something like this repaired by pdr?
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

No. You will have to find an old-school body man. Try Chris at Auto Body Specialist in Garland. That man could straighten out a crushed beer can.
Trolling? Heck no, I meant every word of it.

That one is going to be tough. I'm always surprised at what they can fix but with the way that one rolls into the crease, I'd say it depends on how it "pops" out. Without a doubt they can make it look way better than it does now though.
Good luck.

PDR is cheap enough, give it a try. If it does not work then go old school body and dent repair.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Not a body man but a repair will probably have filler in it. With the abuse/use a tailgate gets i would worry about it falling out after a few years.

Good luck. Being into the crease makes it virtually impossible to get out.

A good PDR guy can fix that. He will still likely use an old school hammer & dolly or some variation of it.
The only issue that might arise it metal stretch, but there are ways to combat that

The first scratch hurts the worst. Yeah, and this one wasn’t even my doing.. Was in a low lying field on Saturday for a charity dove hunt and the skies opened up.. Guy hunting next to me thought I needed a push to get out & he was a little aggressive. But with sheet metal being paper thin these days, it doesn’t take much. Thanks for all the input, boys..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.
