Wife bought me a new President Trump 2024 flag. I like it but to me it blends in with the American flag and Trumps first two letters the T&R in Trump is hard to see. So I am going to get her to get me another one, I have picked these two out so far, any other suggestions are welcome
Also have a question on the bottom picture with the Texas flag, does it matter which side the color Red it is on when it is hung down like pictured below?
Regarding the Texas flag when hanging vertically, the white should be on the left, red on the right. And I think the Trump flag looks good!
This is the second Texas flag in about a week that I have seen hanging incorrectly. The first was a California transplant neighbor. When I told him he responded "really, are you sure?". He had it changed that same evening. I'll give him credit, it seems he's trying to embrace being here, but his Dumbocrat shows at times. Though I'm not fooled by simply flying a flag.
What drives me crazy is when people literally hang the Texas flag upside down. I passed a mailbox with the American and Texas flags flying above it, TX upside down and I got out and fixed it. I have to tell my guys on the rig every now and then, hey, go up on the doghouse and turn that flag right side up....the Texas star always points up, not down.

Some years back the dealer I worked at was having one of those promotions for trucks, you know, the "Texas Special "or " Lone Star " edition or something like that. They'd hired a group to dress up like "cowboys " and "cowgirls " with the boots and spurs and tucked in britches legs and the hats and bandanas and vests and such. They went all around the place carrying an upside down Texas flag and hollering yee haw and waving the flag. etc. I tried to stop and correct them several times and finally had to get somebody up front to get them to fix the blankety blanking flag
The really sad part was that none of the yuppie pinheads even noticed the upside down flag, no employees or actors either one
Red should be closest to the flag pole when hung in that manner, or towards the ground when hung traditionally.
Red is closer to the pole, so people does that make it right or do I need to switch them? If so I am SOL because no matter which end I put on first will be the wrong side, the manufacturer has put opposite colors behind each other and it will only show up the wrong way

White goes on the left from the perspective of the viewer. In the pic you originally posted it is backwards. The pole has nothing to do with it.
I am a Dork sometimes, I was thinking my flag pole in the yard that is close to it for that is what I consider the only pole in the yard, not the rod it is hanging from
"When the flag is displayed vertically, the blue stripe should be uppermost and the white stripe should be to the state flag's right (observer's left)."
In the picture below. driving in this direction it is backwards, if you are coming the other way it will be correct if the colors on both sides of the flag are on the same side. If the colors on the flag are not the same on both sides, is this when HayRaker comment about Red being closest to the pole take effect, if so then the Red should be closest to the tree's main trunk.
