Fess up!

When you go to the store, how many of you go to the meat dept. even though you had no plans on buying any meat?

Went to SAMS yesterday to buy the wife some flowers, as always I had to do a drive by the meat department and low and behold they had some nice NY Strips & a great pack of Ribeye's marked down.
Even though I have a lot of steaks and other meats in the freezer, I just could not help myself and jumped on them.
I also do a drive by to the beer & wine section too.

My wife hates it when I go to the store, if I tell her we are out of something and I will go pick it up, she immediately says no, she will get it.

Thank goodness for Food Savers.

I always roll through it to see if I can find any manager specials if you will.

I love Sam's and their prime beef. Always went thru there every trip. Since we have moved over here to the Boise area, there is no Sam's but only a Costco. Haven't found any good deals or sales, to try their beef, but I still look!!!

I eat alot of meat per week

Grill almost every day twice a day cooking mostly rib eyes or pork ribs

I just find Rib Eye on sale and buy a ton of it and vacumn seal it

Always gotta browse

We have had our SAMS membership forever and in the past I rarely went in there for the wife usually does all of the shopping, except to maybe make a run for a Rotisserie chicken for $4.99, they are so good especially for the price!!

Use to buy almost all of my steaks at Tom Thumb when they had their Choice cuts on sale for $4.99 lb. a lot of times you could find well marbled meat cheap, not anymore.
Their quality of Choice went downhill quick, now they are advertising Select cuts so no mas to the Thumb.
Now I lurk up and down SAMS meat section checking out the mark downs, it cost more than the old Thumb deals but it is a hell of a lot better meat!!!

We will be some of the previous sealed ones up this weekend.
