We pulled up at our dove field to hunt Saturday morning. The first thing I noticed was the deer in the field, and a group of pigs were behind them. The deer ran off, but the pigs paid us no attention. We were unloading our gear and pigs started coming in closer. I grabbed the AR pistol 10.5" in 300 blk out and went to the edge of the field to wait. At about 150 yards, the pigs were headed to my left towards the tree line. I drilled the lead pig with a loud "thud" of the bullet. The group turned the other way like I hoped, and ran towards the open part of the field to the right. They took off running away from me running to my right and I went to work on them. Shots were anywhere from 150 to 200+ yards or so. I missed a few times and made more shots that connected, but didn't down all the pigs. I went to slide lock on the mag of about 15-20 rounds or so. I dropped 4. One had 3 bullet hits. The sow was the biggest sow I've ever seen. She had to be pregnant. That was the first thing when we pulled up to dove hunt!

(And between the 3 of us, we got 8 dove. The dove were taken with a 12 gauge)
