Yep, welcome to AR's. The buck the OP put up is protected where I hunt. There needs to be exceptions for these freaks. I hope tlk is not in an AR county, like others said it would make a heck of a euro mount.

I think the OP buck is injury related. No way to know for sure, but I would think he has a good chance of growing a "normal" rack in the future.
Of course, when it comes to tlks racks, "what is normal, anyway"?

Deer was taken in Potter county. No AR on mulies there. Legal buck. Don't be so quick to jump to conclussions.

That looks just like the one you shot in Randall County, 2019.

That's great for both the OP and QMC SW/EXW. I am glad there are still lots of counties without AR. I wish we didn't have them as we have several that need to go, but they will die of old age.

Was it shot in Potter, or Randall County?

Right on the border of both counties. The ranch crosses the county lines. When I first got it thought it was Randall but have since found out it was Potter. One side of the draw is Randall and the other side is Potter. Seasons are the same in both counties and when it was shot there were no ARs in either and still aren't in Potter, where this deer hit the ground. Plus, where that area of Randall County is in the CWD zone and there are no ARs in the CWD zone.
