After spending countless hours watering the trees in the yard F-sun. Sunday evening, after I left, we received 1.5" of rain. Wasn't in the forecast either. We've lost around 1/2 dozen mature oak trees and dozen more pine trees. Plus a Magnolia that I planted for my mom.
Anyone else get rain from this storm?

Yes, got a storm that formed out the blue late Sunday that dropped 1/2" of rain on us. Not a widespread event....but happy it happened in my area.

It had been 107°F here that afternoon, would never have expected it.

None for us. Haven't seen rain in over 6 weeks or more. Everything dying. No rain in the foreseeable future, either. Been here 11 years. Never have I seen it this bad.

Got 3.2", but only after the small twister ripped 1/3 of a barn roof off.

I guess I can be thankful I still have mine.

We got 8 tenths out of that same cloud. I was so happy to see it raining I grabbed a lawn chair and a Miller High Life and sat out in the yard and drank a beer and enjoyed just sitting in the rain.

I thought about going out and standing in our rain, but the lightening kept me indoors.

Not many things frighten me, but lighting terrifies me.
