Thinking about going back to one. Had a Norelco with the then-new triple floating head 50 years ago in college. (Think Santa commercial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlZNPjdzTrE)
Gotten to where I am chasing a lot of gray stubble these days and thought maybe a return to an electric/rechargeable might make sense. Looks like Norelco is still in play, and Braun, among others.

have a Braun forever, can't even find replacement heads for it. I will use it like you do.

I have rather thick whiskers, Never had luck with them, tried a few out.

I go with the Gillette triple blades from Costco

I use a braun (given to me) to trim down my beard some when it gets a little long and blades pull on it too much. Then finish up with a blade. But mainly a blade. That's the best I have.

If I need to knock off quick stubble I fire up my Remington 3 head rotary. But most of the time I'm just using a blade in the shower.

I use electric clippers, I don't like a totally smooth finish.

Had a beard for nearly 15yrs now, not going back to clean-shaven anytime soon. I leave my face wet when I get out of the shower and clean up the lines with an old Gillette Sensor. I hit the beard once/wk or once every other with this guy:

I thought everybody did. I don’t shave all the way down. I leave stubble. I guess what I use would be called a trimmer, maybe like qsyb. I let it get a little long outa laziness then about once a week I trim it and use blade to trim some edges.

Just switched to electric. Been old school double edge razor all my life until recently my fine motor skills have deteriorated a bit and started cutting myself too much.

I use both electric and blade. All depends on the situation and amount of time I have. Sometimes I'm all blade, sometimes all electric. But I also use the electric to do some precision trimming where the blade just isn't that accurate.

I'm all electric. I have a Braun 6 or 7 cannot remember then a trimmer and one blade to trim. For decades I did the blade thing...just seems easier to daily use the Braun then every few weeks use the trimmer and one blade. The trimmer and one blade are also used for haircuts to they are very much multipurpose.

I use a Braun S3 wet/dry, but I don't have a heavy beard. Amazon has the for around $60.

My experience is that no electric will shave like a real blade. Thankfully I don't have to shave anymore.
