 Where to get hides tanned

Curious of everyone's experience having hides tanned. I've got a fox I cased skinned several months ago and gave to a friend who is a taxidermist to send off to be tanned. Wondering who everyone uses and what your experiences are with quality and turnaround times. The last axis hide I had him send off took about a year maybe longer before I got it back. Its been about 7 months since I dropped the fox off hoping its less than a year this time.

I don't remember exactly which place it was,
but ( at least) one of the trapping supply companies
I've dealt with in the past offered fur tanning
services and sold tanned furs
RP Outdoors is the closest place I'm aware of
not too far across the line in Louisiana.
I know they've bought fur in the past

Ive had a bunch of hides tanned by NTX tannery in Denton. A year is about par for a dry tan

Moyle Mink and Tannery in Idaho does all our furs and hides.

Last I heard the tannery was 8 months at best to get stuff back.

Ive had a bunch of hides tanned by NTX tannery in Denton. A year is about par for a dry tan Same. Had Axis hides tanned there on two occasions.

+1 for Moyle, over here in Idaho. We have been using them for 30+ years. High quality, quick turn around. Both finished fur tanning, and hair on taxidermy tanning of capes. https://moyle.net

Moyle tans in house and lately USA Foxx has not gotten glowing reviews.
Sleepy Creek Tannery is in Iowa .
I believe there is a place in Montana too, don't know the name.

I took an axis doe to Junction Deer Processing a few years back, who sent it out somewhere to get tanned. No clue who they sent it to but it was roughly a year turn around.

Whitakers in Iowa Park did my badger. Dropped it off in February, it's ready. They're shipping it to me for another $15.00
6 month turn around, not bad at all.
They run a great business all the way around. Deer processing is fast and super clean. They do all my processing and a Euro on my buck last year.
