I had my girl Kacey for 14 years, she was the most loyal and loving dog and was great with kids and loved my first born and was so gentle. She has been struggling the last couple weeks but yesterday she deteriorated a lot. Wouldn’t eat would barely drink, and when I got home she didn’t greet me, would barely walk, and when we got to the vet I couldn’t even get her to pick up her head anymore. Just suffered that myself, condolences, there are some folks that will say Oh it's just a dog, I feel sorry for people who feel that way. Dogs are the best

Have been there several times because we love dogs and it’s inevitable. But the one that hurt the most was our beloved black lab, “Misty”. She was the poster child for every good trait and skill labs are known for.
Very sorry for your loss. I’m still grieving the loss of my only son to a car accident a month ago. Prayers for you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. That is tough. We had to put one down a few weeks ago as the cancer got her quick.
