My son's back yard tonight, in the Ketchum/SunValley area here in Idaho. Yogi is just making the rounds and looking for picnic baskets (or groceries)!

When I lived in North Central Pennsylvania, I had bears in my yard almost every day from early May to mid November.

When I lived in North Central Pennsylvania, I had bears in my yard almost every day from early May to mid November. Bought my first bear tag last week and hope to knock a big'un down this fall. I'm told a 600 pounder was killed last near where I'll be hunting this year. We'll see.

Good luck! There are several 600 plus pound bears killed in Pennsylvania every year.
