Pretty cool....! I've only made one Spear. Intending to use it on a Feral Hog.....but never have. It would be a 'one shot' deal if I ever did. I made the 'point' from Obsidian (VERY easy to break)....but just a piece I had laying around that was big enough to make a spear point from. Then knapped a really sharp 'bleeder' from Agate and fastened it below the Spear Point. Fun to make....but not very practical. Definitely get my A$$ stomped by a Wooly Mammoth if we went 'back in the day'. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/08/full-56101-396321-spearpoint.jpg) Yours would hold up better. ![up up](/forum/images/graemlins/default/cup.gif)

I made one years and years ago fully intending to use it on a pig but age and a little wisdom caught me in time. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/08/full-3751-396406-img_1409.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2023/08/full-3751-396407-img_1412.jpeg)

Maybe we need to get together and 'team up' on a pig. I see in that pic you have some old Leg Hold traps (Victors)?
