Do any of you have two rifles in the same caliber that you would say you use regularly or have a different purpose?

Various heavy barrel 7-08 for tartget at different times and various 7-08 hunting rifles throughout that time. So yes, a Hunter and target at the same time.

Tikka/Obermyer
Savage/Proof
Zermatt/Bartlien

T3 lite
Savage 116
Savage 112
Ruger #1

The caliber does both well. But a 15-18 pound hunting rifle is not much fun.

300BLK. One with day scope, one with night vision, one with red dot.

Assuming you're not talking about the 22LRs which are just fun, cheaper to shoot and great for introducing others to shooting...

.308 Win. - Started my small group with a Remington Model 7, laminate stock, over 20 years ago as my catch all, if I could only have one centerfire rifle as I started building my essential 5. It's short length was good in a blind, lighter weight would be good hiking. Got a good deal on a Marlin XS7 a few years later, which was a little heavier and easier on the shoulder just to put rounds down range. It was one of those underappreciated models that were selling cheaply on the used market at the time years ago. Picked up a Bergara B-14 since none of the local smiths wanted to try to thread the Remington or Marlin once I picked up my first suppressor. Once I save up some more money, going to look for a true mountain rifle set up that's hopefully sub-6 lbs before scope, with a threaded barrel. That way I'll have 2 for hunting and 2 for plinking... or 4 for both. And of course the wish list for this boring old cartridge is practically endless, for any reason you can dream up.

300 HAM'R

2 with day scopes
2 with Thermal scopes
3 that I use for Lehigh Defense bullet testing

I've also got several .308 and .358 rifles I shoot quite a bit. Love the .358 Win caliber, the most underrated caliber there is!

Also, like most I've got several .223/5.56 that are mostly range toys.

No surprise here. Salue.

My two .308's.

The CTR is my go to, #1 in the line up white tail set up. Rides in Kolpin case on the Ranger and carried to and from the blind or whatever set up, hike or spot and stalk I'm doing.
The Mohawk 600 rides up front in the Ranger at the ready. The 18" barrel is handy, same ammo as the CTR and is good from about 45 to 500 yards.

I have multiple 223/556s in the arsenal. Many ARs and a couple bolt actions. Honestly, I'd like to add at least another shorter 16"ish long bolt action as well.
Currently I have one 308 and it was very well suited to serve multiple purposes. but now I'd like to soon have an AR10 and another 308 bolt gun.

I reload and love it so have multiple rifles specifically for 223 and 308 is very feasible because of the vast amount of headstamps available. So far i have been diligent enough to keep it sorted.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Not that I use regularly but I do have some in the same caliber that I prefer based on weather conditions and the expected shot distances. I also have rifles I don't mind leaving in the truck when making stops and others that I would never consider doing so.

I have two Tikka CTR's in 6.5 CM, one 24" (bought first), and later a 20". the 20" is handier, particularly once the suppressors are on. 24 + 7" of can is loooong.

I also have a 700 and a 788, both in .243. The 788 was my first rifle; the 700 is a loaner for family/friends to use.

Right now I'm sitting at 7 HAM'Rs and I use them all to a degree.
My two bolt actions are my main deer rifles.
One upstairs defensive rifle.
One down stairs defensive rifle.
One 16" for night work.
One 18", and one 20" rifle that get used for a bit of everything from load testing, target shooting, and pure playing.

I also have a couple of .308 bolt guns for hunting. (But since I started using the HAM'Rs the .308s just don't get used as much as they used to.)

Yep...I have two .22 magnum rifles. A Henry lever and a Rossi RS 22M semi auto. Love both of them and they are both very accurate. Now I did have two .300 BO guns but the 16" was sold the other day because the AR pistol is much more fun to shoot and suits the application better [shorter range shooting on a small acreage...coyote deterrent and truck gun for self defense should a SHTF event happen while I am in the city working].

I have three 300 HAM’rs. One with a thermal, one is short and light, and the other is more for the blind.

I have three 6.5 PRCs. One is a heavy 15lb chassis rifle with a 7-35 scope, one is a tikka bolt, and the other an encore that is my truck gun.
