Seems like everytime I make a gun purchase, I spend days reading holster reviews and then weeks contemplating whether or not to spend a bunch of bucks making a purchase. Some folks like the lower end, some prefer higher. Seems like there's generally nothing in between that might fit the bill. I recently experienced this quandary and came across a seller on ebay that appeared to have a nice looking product at a middle of the road price. They even had high recommendations. Figured I would take a chance and make a purchase. Didn't have to wait 7 weeks to six months to receive it. I have no connection to the seller whatsoever. The seller is DaystarHolsters.com. (CEBECI ARMS). I generally used Galco, Bullard, and Kramer leather holsters. If you find yourself in a similar search, you might want to look them over. My pistol fits great, it's not loose and is comfortable. Only time will tell however.....

*Mods, if this post violates any of the forum rules, delete it. I just thought it might be an interesting read for those looking for a carry option.....

I have to say that their workmanship looks very good. I may have to give them a try.

And, it appears, they get serious points for creativity. Not so sure about the practicality of this design, though. A double SOB for 5" 1911's makes my back hurt just looking at it!

Oh well, Daddy always said that "some things are made to use, others are made to sell...".

Update....I returned the holster and figured I needed to update this post. Although the holster looked great, there were two issues that needed to be addressed. First, the belt loops are cut in a manner in which I couldn't put a belt thru. The slot on the front face of the holster was tight, however the slot on the backside was too narrow for a belt. Secondly, the high rise of the holster front reinforcement kept me from a proper grip in which to draw the pistol. The return process was flawless....
