Saw that TPWD is ending their online hunting lease listing service, effective September 1, 2023.
Many of the listings seem to be old and outdated, but it was at least specific to private Texas lease opportunities, and the newest listings were always on top.

Which listing services are you planning to support to find or advertise hunting leases?

Couple options I have seen, with the first one having negative opinions in the forum:
huntinglocator.com
texashuntingpost.com
texashuntingnews.com

Haus Ranch LLC, Mineral Texas

It's been years since I've looked at one. 'Seems no one runs one like a business. Everybody loves to put stuff "online", expecting the money to just pour in, without them having to actually work at keeping it current.

I agree on leasehunter.com. Haven’t been on it much last few years but it used to be really good and I tried a bunch.

It seemed to change formatting a year or 2 back. Not as many leases posted as before.
I look at the TPWD site frequently. I remember the printed book you could order, there’d send a copy in the mail. Sent out quite a few hand written letters looking for a lease in the Hill Country late 90’s. Got a reply from rancher in Mason area. Hunted that place for a few years.

I'm not gonna "Go Pro", but, can someone please explain this to me? $13.00 every month, or, $30.00 every 6 months (with more benefits). confused2

Edit: I finally got logged in on a free account. Apparently, I've been a member for over 11 years, which means it is the same old clunky website I remember. The good news is...there's ONE mule deer lease listed! The bad news is...it's $99,000.00 for 11,000 acres. You'd have to get 25 guys together to get close to what a GUIDED mule deer hunt is going for. Maybe I'm outa touch on pricing, but I think I'm gonna hard pass on this site.

I think I pay 29 for 6 months for leasehunter.com. I haven’t even logged on for a couple years so I should consider dropping it I guess.
