Had a small flight pen (in pic below) but constantly fighting raccoons trying to get to my birds. Dug it in and got it raccoon proof but would then hold water when it rained and was hard on birds. Had a lot of reclaimed steel and siding and decided to build a much larger flight pen. Only money I have in it is for the chicken wire and sakrete for the post. Current structure is surrounded by either wire and/or R panel that is screwed into ground level purlin and then covered with rock or dirt. Still have hot fence to install (thats what the t-post are for). Probably use old structure for younger birds before they go to the big house.
