I'm thinking of getting a SPR18 in 7.62x39 just to have a no frills truck gun. Does anyone have this particular model that care to comment on good or bad?

If you are buying from dealer make sure he has the 11mm rings available when you buy the gun. They are Bakail (russian made guns) and everyone I have shot were very accurate.
