Thanks, I never owned any braces or AR15s with short barrels, I stick with 18-22 inch barrels because I use them for hunting. It does worry me that ATF could make thousands of guns illegal with the stroke of a pen, or simply changing a definition.

Correct...but the ATF's argument is that they are not making law, they are only interpreting the law that was already on the books. And they will get away with it until and unless the courts put a stop to it. As of right now, the courts have not stopped it.

You should be worried, if ATF is allowed to make changes "with the stroke of a pen" what will be next? Perhaps your hunting rifles may now be considered sniper rifles? And we can't have that.
