I can tell you this…
That coat is extremely warm and comfortable
I can only wear it a couple times a year.
It’s a 30s and below jacket

It’s a 30s and below jacket windstopper layer works very well in conjunction with the insulation, so well its not much of a multi -functional piece. Cant do much activity in it

It’s a 30s and below jacket I wear the hell out of mine - but once we are in the pit blinds, i have to take it off because its so warm. thought about getting the new earth color for everyday wear, but i'm like most, i buy so much sitka stuff that the wife thinks there should be some sort of support group for people like me haha

Putting out decoys/setting up, is a workout. I normally take off my jacket when I put my deeks out and setting up, which I'm normally doing solo. Then hidding my boat 100 yards away, and walking back to the blind, it is a 30 to 45 minute workout. And riding on the boat is 10x colder than hunting. I just bought this flotation jacket for next season, the reviews on it are good. I got a heavy drake jacket and light drake jacket that I wear under my waders (have had for 15 years), for the boat ride I have an Onyx PFD I wear that I have really liked, but I'm going to replace the PFD with this new flotation jacket, and it will come off when I get to my spot. I will probably wear my light drake jacket all the time, normally all I need when hunting in Texas, even cold mornings unless the wind is blowing hard. This review sold me....
