We finally just got high speed internet at the house. What Streaming channel should I get first? Hulu? Netflix? Peacock? I have Amazon. What shows? We love westerns and comedy the most but we like action/adventure stuff too, war movies, etc.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Oh, you should watch all the first-few-episodes free channels, get hooked, sign up to finish it, then have to look at your credit card bill to remember all the channels you have to pay a monthly fee to!

HBO MAX. Netflix has nothing. Either Hulu or Youtube TV for local channels/sports.

I wish we never started the streaming services. They are nice but $$$ continues to add up with all the different services and they always increase their fees. I want to pull the plug but other needs more persuasion

We had Sling forever, they went up to 75$ a month. So we ditched them and use just the free ones, PlutoTV, RedBull, Discovery, and already have Amazon Prime. I wont ever pay for another streaming service again. There was never anything on anyways

I dropped Dish 3 years ago because they were in a contract dispute with Fox Sports SW (now Bally) and switched to YouTube TV. YTTV was only about $55 at the time and had FSSW. A month or so after I joined YTTV, they dropped FSSW. Shortly after that, they raised their prices. Fast forward to 2023, the price is now $73, which is pretty close to what I was paying for Dish.
I get HBO (Max), Prime, and Netflix for free, so I can't complain too much. Max and Netflix have a ton of great content. I don't get much out of Prime. My wife signed up for Disney, I don't even know how much that one costs or if anyone in the family even watches it regularly.

We just upgraded our internet last month and ditched DTV. Using Fubo since they carry Astros. We are saving $50 a month.

We rotate. Pick 2-3 this month then after and month or so when you feel like you've seen all you want on a app, cancel them and pick up a few more. Then repeat every few months This saves time and money.
