That may be what I found 2 days ago. A broken egg that looked like that and we have a Skink hanging around.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.

Cool. I found a nest like that yesterday on the bank of a creek at the golf course only the skink had no legs but swam well.

It is cool I always find them in my sprinkler control valve box. There are probably salamanders in my septic control box right now. Have not seen as many since the last drought.
