Come on guys, I’m having to live vicariously for a while.

Wind blowing hard.
Senior won the cold bore with Diana and me in 2nd & 3rd. Only one winner RATS for us.

Diana and I packed up early. No winners here.
Top 8 shooters all had 20+ scores. Lots of good shooters today.

I did not win. I know, shocking.
Top 4 were Sr, Chris, Scooter and Tony. Was a very nice day but had stiff winds at our backs shifting right and left.

Report? Well I got a call from a neighbor to the property I have down just north of West around 7am this morning. The news was some of our cows are out in his wheat field. A great big wheat field. So I had to haul butt down there to finagle them back onto our property, the guy helping me got stuck in the mud, had to put two on them in a trailer to get them back to property, A big tree had fallen over on the fence so it had to be cut up and the fence fixed. The only fun part was that some of the cows fell for the range cubes in a sack trick and were no problem at all. So my report, my loaded ammo is still comfortably resting in boxes. Now that is living vicariously!

Senior was the first person to pull a double cold bore win and match win

rickt, the top 8 that went to the shoot off had points from 29 down to 21 If I remember correctly. The first round of 10 shots produced a couple high scores, 19 and 20 I think, but the second round with the wind picking up had everyone scratching their heads as even the 8” plate became difficult.

I HATE a north wind there. Hopefully things are squared away for me by the next match.

wp, Senior let the grass on the hillsides grow and you could see it waving in the wind, (really cool to watch), unfortunately it was waving in different directions at the same time! LOL

Man them are some shooters there. Guess pinging the 3 inch target didn't happen often. We are taking that danged bull to the sale barn ASAP. Sick of him pushing the fences over when it rains or just taking advantage of a downed fence to lead some cows out in the huge fields around our place. Actually I am just about to say I am too old to fool with cows or tractors. Sell em all! Let it all grow up and try to establish a quail population. Become some kind of gentleman. That's the ticket get a grant to re establish the horny toad and start a bunch of them big red ant colonies. Have to kill 200 raccoons, 50 coyotes and about 7000 fire ant hills. That way if I want to go shooting the odds of getting muddy up to my knees, cussing til I'm red in the face on a Saturday morning will be reduced about ten percent. Yep living vicariously Hah!

Easy there trigger

I was taking a class this past weekend and hated to miss this one, but I'll be hopefully at the next one.

You missed a good one John wind was out of the North blowing hard and fishtailing like nobody's business. Chad showed up with his 300 win mag looking like he was going to rule the Day . He started out killing it but ended up a little short at the end of the day.
