My Form 1 was just approved, so I’d like to upgrade from a crappy brace to a quality extending or folding stock. Any recommendations?

These are the two I like, w/ mil-spec buffer tube.

If it is a standard AR15 you won't be able to use a foldable stock unless you get one of the foldable adaptors like the Law Tactical or Sylvan. I've installed the LAW on my SBR and took it off and sent it back to Primary Arms for a refund. I guess they have their place, but I went a different direction.

As for the AR stocks pretty much anything Magpul, but there are several other great companies. B5 Bravo is what I run on my larger AR's I find them too big for a SBR. Also the MFT Minimalist stock was my go to for a long time.

For an SBR I really like the LWRC UCIW stock. It comes with its own buffer and buffer tube. Collapsed it is the same length as most PDW stocks but you still get a good cheek weld and extension unlike most PDW stocks.

I like the Magpul UBR. Its heavy but in my opinion its the best balance between looks, quality, and function.

I prefer B5 SOPMOD, but the Bravo is essentially the same just improved and lighter. My SOPMODS are nice and tight on the buffer tube with no rattle and the cheek wield is nice.

Does the UCIW really provide enough extension in practice? Also, the B5 stocks seem quite nice.

It does for me, but someone like BigPig with the wingspan of a pterodactyl, it would probably be a little short on the LOP side.

What sucks about it? They're pretty much the exact same stock one is just smaller and fits the smaller SBR better.

B5 top and LWRC bottom.

It’s tiny and has a proprietary receiver extension. I tried to like it but didn’t. This reminds me to sell the one I have.

Lol that is kind of the whole point, if it was same buffer tube it wouldn’t be any shorter than a regular Mil spec stock.

Well yeah I understand that but ultimately that’s why I didn’t like it. It’s ok for people to not like what you like up

Most definitelycheers I was just curious why you didn’t like it.

It’s probably right for me since I’m a little dude 5’ 9”.

There was a sale on the B5 Sopmod at Midway, so I grabbed one. I’m still intrigued by the LWRC, so I might pick up one of those as well.
