I need a few good recommendations for a contractor to come replace windows and doors. I say a few because I want good experiences that I can get multiple quotes on -- this won't be a small job.

At a minimum, we are replacing 15 windows and 2 doors including all the jam and trim work, and the windows are moving from double hung to casement. I expect some pretty significant trim work, dry wall, and painting. Main windows I'm looking at are Pella and Andersen, so it would be helpful if you have had contractors that have dealt with those.

Got my Pella's thru Lowes a while back. Of course, they contracted the job out, but I've been happy.

Me as well (patio sliding door).

Had Joel from here, jcarrington do my windows. Great guy and very reasonable.

Do NOT use Lowe's for a large project. They will insist on being paid 100% (materials & labor) up front. They also do not do a very good job in vetting their sub-contractors.

Joel would be the first one on my list. Don't know him but seems to do good work and fair

I’ll definitely reach out to Joel

Let me ask the question a little differently — who has done a remodel that really enjoyed their contractor? Can you pass along their info if you don’t mind
