I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

None of that looked terribly difficult, but I'd never have been optimistic enough to even begin. I sure wouldn't have bothered with hot bluing, either. I guess using the original springs that were in the gun were just part of the fun but I would have replaced them, and I bet he did too after proving it would fire. I guess it just goes to show you what a little effort can do for you.

I don’t know, I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night and am pretty sure those efforts are half baked at best. Calling it a restoration is a LONG shot, but at least he didn’t cerakote it.
I’d also bet good money he promoted the destruction of that gun for the videos sake.
