This came from a slab of mesquite that was cut a couple of years ago. It is stable and beautiful. It pretty much maxed out my mid-sized lathe. It has a couple of cracks that I filled with black CA glue. I sanded to 600 grit, then finished with 2 coats of natural danish oil and 2 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane. It is 11.5" in diameter and just over 4" tall. Would make a great fruit bowl or holiday platter/display. $200 FTF in Bryan/CS area or $225 shipped.

Mother's Day is coming up in about 5 weeks. What better way of showing love to Mom than to give her a beautiful, last-for-generations bowl.
