How can I find a name and address of the registered owner of plate# LLT5740? I was told once you can get this info at the tax office for $2 but have no experience.

I'd post the registered owners name but that's a little bit too much digging into y'all's business. I will say that I have learned over the years not to do business with people with funny sounding names. I picked that bit of wisdom up from George Clooney where he played an attorney in a movie called Intolerable Cruelty. He didn't say it quite the way I did but he did say look for people with funny names and I adopted it for my own use.

I will say that I have learned over the years not to do business with people with funny sounding names. Many years ago I had a guy roll back into to me at Josey & Trinity Mills. It was dark and damage to my bumper was very light. I noticed it when I saw bumper in the daylight. The next morning I waited for him to drive down Josey and got his plate number. I went to the Carrolton police station and explained what happened. They gave me his name and address but warned if he was uncooperative to just walk away. He remembered me and gave me insurance info to file a claim. I told him he would be better off to just give me $400 for a bumper but he wanted insurance to pay it.
